Restaurant Depot

Monday 9/18/23 They opened the truck entrance off the frontage road at 6:30 a.m. The door for check in is between door 2 and 3. You have to ring the bell and someone will open the door for you. Today they worked First come First serve. I was in and out in 2 hours. I was First in line. I don't like that I got here 10 minutes before they opened and I had to park in the road with my hazards on. No shoulder.

I got in line about 10 mins ago. The cashier stopped ringing her guest and asked me to go to the cashier to the left. The last one all the way to the left. I did. The middle cashier completed her guest and took the guest that walked up behind me. The cashier that asked me to move completed her guest within 2 mins of asking me to go to another cashier and also, called over the guest that walked up behind me. Not sure what I did your cashier that she dislikes me. Never seen her before in my life but, my restaurant will not step foot in your place again. Worst customer service I have experienced.

I'm going to start by saying that I went to buy one thing. Looks like there might be a decent selection of food but i wanted one item.. A butchers knife. I stopped at the front counter and asked which isle I could find such a thing. Then she waved her hand nonchalantly in a direction and said.. "over there". I went in the direction indicated and after a bit of looking found two options. I chose one and went looking for a place to pay. .back to the first counter I saw. Nope. The counter is "over there" ((again a motion on some vague direction)) . I walked that way and found another store associate. I asked where the register was. Again another vague motion. I wove my way around and found a register. No one in line, I walked up. The woman standing there said that their line "started in one" (I've never been here before) I asked "I'm sorry, what?" ((She repeats.. MUCH LOUDER)) I asked where "one" was. She pointed roughly and the man beside me said .. no one is there. (There wasn't) The associate again pointed to where the line start and repeated. I started that way and some woman walked up out of no where to check out. 3 items took 10 minutes. We all waited chatting then I finally got called to the register to be told I needed a "guest pass" which would mean i go back to the entrance and then get back in line. I left my item and walked out. I spoke to a couple of other customers who had similar experiences regularly there. ((No staff to assist in pulling stock, etc. )) Not a recommendation I can make. Sorry. I try to buy local but when your customer service is THIS level.. well... there are other local companies.

I have stopped using Restaurant Depot! The employees are rude and the prices are not good. The few items that i buy there are not worth the abuse by the employees. I have yet to meet a pleasant person at checkout. The owner will probably reply to this asking me to send an email addressing these issues. I ALREADY HAVE ADDRESSED THEM HERE -WJAT MORE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? Everyone has issues at checkout with the attitude of your employees. DEAL WITH THEM!
